North Broward Radiologists’ Dr. Michael J. Alboucrek Receives Broward Health’s “Shining Star” Award
Dr. Michael J. Alboucrek was recently awarded the Broward Health Shining Star. This award is given by Broward Health to employees who are committed to encompassing exceptional service to the community, collaborative organizational team, fostering an innovative environment, accountability for positive outcomes and valuing Broward Health’s employee family. A patient who came in for an MRI breast biopsy wrote a letter to the hospital to recognize Dr. Alboucrek’s service. The patient explained that Dr. Alboucrek and the nurses were reassuring and comforting throughout the process, and thanked them for providing such great care.
Dr. Terrence J. Barrett recognized by Broward Health CEO for Clinical Vignette
Dr. Terrence J. Barrett was recognized by Broward Health CEO, Nabil El Sanadi, for outstanding work on a Clinical Vignette focused on women’s breast cancer screening and prevention. His Clinical Vignette explained that the new, cutting edge technology has made a large impact on how radiologists screen and diagnose breast cancer. These technologies will revolutionize current breast imaging protocols and provide Broward Health with an advantage in early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
